HISTORY
Even if today does not remain any some trace, Como came called the "city bulwark" for the high ones walls that they came made to construct on order of Mark Claudius Marcello. In the VII century one took place an architectonic renewal that he saw to be born great constructors and masons who created great Romanesque monuments of the city. Between 1118 and the 1127 ollowed numerous communal fights and Como came destroyed from the from Milan ones. Como passes then in hand to the Visconti towards the half of 1300, and thanks to this Como people find again its great splendor.
