Santa Cesarea Terme is located in south part of Italy, in the Apulia region, province of Lecce and in the beautiful area of Salento. Situated on the coast at the beginning of the Otranto canal on a terrace of the coast which comes down to the sea, the town of Santa Cesarea is one of the most important centres of care of Salento.
The exploitation of the waters, coming from four caves, dates back to 1500 and on these caves is based the economy of the whole town with the costitution of different thermal establishments equipped for the caring of the baths and the muds with the possibility of other therapies.
Santa Cesarea Terme can be reached from the Strada Statale n. 16, Adriatica, and n. 173 of the Terme Salentine; and from different internal provincial roads.
Arriving to Lecce by train FF.SS, it can be possible to go on by bus of the Azienda Sud-Est, or bus line Lecce-Santa Cesarea Terme.
