The communal territory of Scorrano borders on Maglie in the North and North-West, on Supersano and Nociglia on the South, on Sanarica and Muro Lecces in the East.
Scorrano is a little town in the hinterland of Salento (province of Lecce, Apulia region), in the South-East of Lecce, Scorrano rises on the northern versant of a little hill of calcareous-clayey nature connected with the sierre which goes from Corigliano to Castiglione.
The economy is almost exclusively based on agriculture (olive); only recently some local contractors have set up some little clothes-making laboratories. A certain economic profit comes from the hospital which grant presences and commercial exchanges to the town.
