Locanda Matilda is an ancient manor of about 1700, located in the Mantuan countryside, swathed in greenery, at only 5 km from the centre. The relaxing atmosphere of our manor, where youll be welcomed with politeness, warmth, friendliness and cordiality, is our visiting card! Our big rooms with mansard-roof and wooden ceiling, rafters and floors in terracotta tiles, are furnished with typical antiques of our region.
Whether you come here for a holiday or a business stay, just for one night or for one full month, we would like to offer you an unforgettable souvenir.
We will give you advice about a different itinerary, a place less known, but not for this less interesting, a particular dish of our local cuisine, of our land that we love so much, of the Italian corner where we live and of which we are very proud.
Our purpose is to make you come back not only because you want to visit Mantua and you are looking for an appropriate accommodation, but also because you want to stay in our manor, have your breakfast in the shadow of a luxuriant willow and, in the afternoon, visiting Mantua, located very close to us, maybe going there by boat, trailing your hands on lotus flowers

Where we are

Locanda Matilda is located in Castelletto Borgo. From the Modena-Brennero motorway, take the Mantova Nord exit, pass the round-about and proceed to the industrial zone. After 500 metres, immediately after the underpass, turn to the right and proceed to Ostiglia. At the round-about, you'll se the first sign point to Castelletto Borgo. Don't follow it. Proceed straight ahead until the motorway flyover and pass it. While descending, you'll see the second sign point to Castelletto Borgo, turn to the left and, after 200 meters you'll find Locanda Matilda on your left. Two enormous black poplars are welcoming you.
