Perugia is one city with ancient origins, goal of an international tourism. To Perugia, capoluogo of the Umbria region, we can admire beautifulst works of art, churches, museums and public squares. Between the main attractions we can remember the Public square of Priori, the Palace of the Priori, the National Gallery of the Umbria, the College of the Change, the College of the Merchandise, the church of Saint Peter, the garden botanists of the University and the reconstruction of a "medieval medicale garden".
Perugia Was founded from the Fenici between VI and V the century a.C., than joined to the populations umbre that already they inhabited you from IX the century a.C. Until III the century a.C. it was occupied from the Etruschi and it was encircled from enormous walls (still visible, delimit still its five historical rioni) in which were placed seven doors, the more imposing di.le which was Pulchra Door, famous also like Door of Augusto. Then century was conquered from Roman III a.C. and Perugia, after a first period, had a consisting cultural, social and economic development. After the fall of the Roman Empire Perugia it had a development crisis and was dominated before from the Goti and then from the Bizantini.
