Bella Baita, mountain retreat, is the perfect choice for relaxation, sport, or discovery. Situated in the heart of the 2006 Winter Olympic valleys, we are a small and friendly family run B&B, 57km (30 miles) SW of Turin, between Pinerolo and Sestriere ski resort, another 40 minutes on. Nestled in the forests of this undiscovered part of the Italian Alps at 1,100m (3,600ft), Bella Baita has a spectacular panoramic view of the nearby French border, which should not be missed. All five of our comfortably inviting rooms have their own private entrance and bathroom. Our reasonable rates include our ample home made breakfast specialties to start your day off right. Memorable meals or self catering is also available upon arrangement. All levels of walking and cycling are just outside your doorstep, with a rock climbing area nearby. Our peaceful alpine surroundings make Bella Baita the perfect choice for the independent traveler or groups who sport or sight are seeing minded and will beckon you to return again and again. When you discover our "off the beaten path", part of the Italian Alps, you will be glad you did.

Rates

All rooms with private bath. Included in the daily room rate is a hearty, continental style breakfast, including but not limited to our homemade bread, marmalades, ( some fruits gathered in our woods), a sweet pastry and various locally produced foods.

As we are somewhat remote from dining options, and both trained chefs, we offer other meals upon request, adding to your enjoyment and holiday experience with us. We offer simple lunches, picnics and multi course evening menus as simple or as
complex as you like, accommodating most budgets. We can include local wine, coffee, and digestive depending on your preferences. We are experienced catering to special diets.

We cook what's in season, trying to include traditional Piedmont cuisine, that you might not find or try in the average restaurant.
We strive to ensure a pleasurable, tailor made visit.
Lunch and dinner available upon arrangement. Prices based on number of courses and desired personalized menus.

Where we are

	Located in the western Italian Alps on the French border in Piedmont, we live up to the English translation of Piedmont as the "foot of the mountains". In the heart of the 2006 Olympic circle, Bella Baita is 31 miles south west from Turin past Pinerolo. 25 miles east from Sestriere and 43 miles from Briançon, France.
	Turin's Caselle airport is about 10 km past Turin and hosts international carriers such as British Airways, Alitalia, and Lufthansa, along with low cost carriers, Ryanaire and Easy Jet. Set to be completed by 2006 there will be train service directly from the airport. At the moment, train service goes from Turin to Pinerolo.
	Bus service directly from the airport or Turin, can take you to the bottom of our road and arrangements with us. Specific directions for cars upon request. Public transportation is very reliable, although having a car gives you the most flexibility and freedom.
