Ravello is a little town situated in the Amalfi Coast area, in the province of Salerno, Campania, and it has approximately 2,500 inhabitants. It is a famous tourist destination.

The habitations denote a typical Sicil - Arab architecture of 11th - 13th centuries. Ravello keeps wide and precious evidences of its flowering medieval season. Villa Cimbrone is the most representative of the medieval architectonic remains, its extensive garden offers a view of incomparable beauty all over the Gulf of Salerno. During the Summer there are many concerts of chamber music and also some ceramics and painting exhibitions.
Another excellent architectonic example is the Palazzo dei Rufolo, very famous for the annual musical Festival, it is placed in a commanding situation and also bound to literary memories. Other significant artistic heritage are: Palazzo dei Talla, Palazzo dei Confalone, Palazzo dei d'Afflitto and also mosaics, reliefs, frescoes of 14th century, tufa decorations and romanic tresures, which are preserved into the Duomo of 11th century.
Ravello is known also for its typical wines and parfumed citrus groves.
