Our farm is placed in a locality with a beauty that leaves speechless, the uncontaminated Alcantara-Valley, patterned by olive branches, streams and vineyards. The structure includes an area of fifty hectares extended in one of the most beautiful spots of Sicily, indeed at a short distance you'll find the famous Gole Alcantara, in front the imposing Etna, at only twenty minutes the charming Taormina and not far the Nebrodi.
The San Cataldo farm offers a hearty and familiar hospitality, with comfortable rooms use B&B, half or full boardwith comfortable rooms, cool in the summer and heated in the winter. Huts wooden independent from each other, with large spaces available are able to accommodate two or more people. The estate Rosmarino Park is located in a natural reserve in the township of S.Agata di Militello (ME) and can be easily reached by train ( station of S.Agata di Militello), by plane ( airports of Catania, Palermo or Reggio Calabria ) or by car ( motorway A20 Messina-Palermo, exit "Rocca di Caprileone" if you are driving from Messina, exit "S. Agata di Militello" if you are driving from Palermo).
The site where the Estate lies, formerly the farmland of local aristocrats at the end of the Eighteen hundreds, is surrounded by lemon-tree, banana-tree and olive groves and by a vast park populated with refined plants, a few of which are imported and very rare - in certain cases, unique in Europe.
There is a free beach on the Tyrrhenian about 800 metres away, right in front of the Eolie islands. The Estate is located at the borders of the Regional Park of the Nebrodi Mountains , the largest park in Sicily, within easy reach for a walk in the wildlife.

Our names are Anna and Fabio, the owners of Case Colomba. We have two lovely boys, Giorgio e Stefania and we love spending time with them and our friends relaxing at our house in the country.
Apart from nature, we also love travelling, and it was during one of our trips that we decided to open our house to people who, like us, enjoy discovering new places, meeting new people and sharing new experiences.

In the seventeenth century the main building was a small convent of monks who dedicated their lives to a simple and rural way of living. The water spring of St. Rosalie, located in the lowest part of the property and built by the monks, was used both to water their livestock and their crops. When the monks abandoned the convent, soldiers moved in and transformed it into a military garrison. At the main entrance you can still see the remains of the ’Garritta’ , a military sentry box. Towards the end of the ‘800’s the whole property was passed onto a noble family of Nicosia which used it as a summer and hunting residence. Today it has been restored scrupulously by the new owners and the country house has been preserved in almost every single detail.
