The population of the Sesi coming from Africa settle in the island of Murzia to use the obsiadian that there is in it. The obsiadian is a vitreous rock considered precious to create cutting tools and arms. Follow a dominatio by Phoenicians and Carthaginians.
It is conquered by Romans that name it Cossyra (which means fertile land). Different dominations cause the union of many cultures and religions. Dominations like: Vandals, Araba, Normans, Swabians, Angevins, Aragoneses, Genoeses, Spanish, Bourbons and so on).

Pantelleria Nature.
Pantelleria is still a stopping place for migrating birds like: thrushes, woodcocks and turtle doves; which come and go above all in spring and autumn. Pantelleria is a volcanic land and, in Rakhali, there are jets of boiling steam. From the 'Cold cave' in Bukkhuram comes out a cold air flux like in an air conditioner. In the Siba Benikhulàs grotto there are natural jets of boiling steam at different temperature (you can have a 'dry bath' that is a sauna or Turkish bath). The peculiar form of the coasts and of the grottos of the island is a fashinating discovery.
What you can do in Pantelleria: Bird-watching, a 'dry bath', that is a sauna in the grotto of Siba Benikhula, a swim in the 'Venus Mirror', a small lake of warm sulphurous waters rich in potassium carbonate and in mineral salts and surrounded by rushes.
