The interior of “Casa Lemmi”… originally Norman and dating back to the beginning of the last millennium, facing the Collegiata Church on one side and Mount Amiata on the other. Directly in front of the Collegiata Church of San Quirico D’Orcia stands “Casa Lemmi”, inhabited for over a millennium and originally Norman, once the refuge of the Knights Templar, Imperial residence, a guest house, convent, fortified house, and for at least three hundred years, the home of the owner of a nearby estate in the Val D’Orcia. In a separate wing, once used for agricultural purposes, there are now guest rooms. The rooms open off a stairwell which rises towards a bright, sunny dome.
