The Gattopardo Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of the historical centre of Florence, behind the wonderful Piazza della Signoria and the Dome.

The apartment sits in an ancient “palazzo”, dating back to 1200, which was the birthplace and residence of the writer Vasco Pratolini.
Situated on the first floor of the building, the atmosphere recalls medieval Florence, where you will find typical antique décor, precious items of furniture, works of art and beautiful rugs, under a vaulted ceiling with frescoes and wooden beams. The apartment has also been renovated throughout, adhering to modern safety standards, in order to provide you with the utmost comfort.
The comfortable, chic bedrooms all have a private bathroom, a 26” LCD screen television and free wireless Internet connection. 	By car, from the motorway exit Firenze Nord: - Follow the signs for 'centro' or 'viali di circonvallazione' to reach Piazza della Libertà. - From Piazza della Libertà take the viale Matteotti south in the direction of the river, all the way down along the east side of the city (This road changes names to Antonio Gramsci and eventually viale Giovane Italia). - Once past Piazza Beccaria, take a right turn into via dell’Angolo and continue straight into via Pandolfini. When the road divides, turn left, heading towards Piazza San Firenze where you can park temporarily and wait for the garage service by calling us on +39 055-510274. - From the newsstand in Piazza San Firenze you can reach us on foot by taking via della Condotta, and then the first street on the right which is via dei Magazzini, - We are at Number 1. Please ring the doorbell named 'Micali B&B Gattopardo'. We are on the first floor. 	From Florence Peretola airport you can reach Piazza della Signoria or via dei Magazzini by taxi, or by bus number 35 from via Pistoiese (in the direction of Adua – Firenze Fiera).
	Arriving at the main railway station of Firenze S.M.N. (Santa Maria Novella rail station) you can reach Piazza della Signoria either by taxi, the number 32 bus (you’ll need to buy a ticket before you board from a 'Tabaccheria') or on foot, taking via Panzani in the direction of the Duomo. You can reach us easily from Piazza della Signoria in the centre of the city. Looking at the façade of Palazzo Vecchio (with the tall tower) the entrance to via dei Magazzini is in the far left corner of the square. When you turn into the street, you will find number 1 on your left, where you will see the plaque for B&B Gattopardo, alongside the commemorative plaque in honour of Vasco Pratolini. Please ring the doorbell named 'Micali B&B Gattopardo'. We are on the first floor.
