Description

In the heart of the old city of Florence, just between Piazza Santa Croce and Piazza della Signoria, there is De Benci b&b, bed and breakfast in Florence, ideal base for visiting one of the most beautiful cities on earth and its art.

The visit, the discovery of the capital of the Renaissance already begins within the walls of De Benci b&b.

The atmosphere is very charming, stylish and romantic: you will be welcomed into elegantly furnished suites with every modern comfort (air conditioning/heating, private bathroom in room, digital lcd tv - DTV, internet connection, Etc.).

The bed and breakfast is on the fourth floor of an ancient building (dating back to 1300) with the recent installation of modern lift.

The thick and textured interior walls are painted rose. The doors are as light as ivory. Very wide windows let the light go in. The typical Tuscan floor and the ancient wooden-beam ceiling enrich the entire structure. In all over the place you can find small details in characteristic stone (i.e. pietra serena), in ancient brick or in dark wrought iron and brass that decorate the environment, but soft colour and scent of wood reign over all. Every detail has been chosen with great care, taste and passion.

Prices areare refered to the room per night, they are indicative (min / max) and include taxes and breakfast.

Check-in must be between 10 am and 7:00 pm (arrivals later than 7 pm are not accepted), after the check-in you will have the keys and you will be free to go in and out anytime.

Where we are

	Exit A1 motorway at the Firenze Sud toll and follow the direction to the city centre and Piazza Santa Croce. If you come by car, inform us in advance. For more info contact us, please.
	If you are at the airport you can take the bus number 62 connecting the airport to Santa Maria Novella central railway station. There are departures from airport every 30 minutes, the ride lasts about 20-40 minutes (it depends on traffic). To reach us from the central railway station read the following paragraph.
	The closest reailways station is Firenze Santa Maria Novella. The railway station is 1400 meters far away, so you can take a cab or the bus number 14 or 23 (the ride lasts about 5-20 minutes, it depends on traffic); if you have light luggage you can come on foot passing through the characteristic streets of Florence.
	From the central railways station Santa Maria Novella you can take the bus number 14 or 23. Both of them stop near Santa Croce Square.
