Newly born in Florence, the Casa dei Tintori is a refined and quiet Italian residence freshly restored after an accurate intervention, to offer lovers of Medieval Florence a gorgeous holiday in the true spirit of warm and friendly Italian Bed and Breakfast hospitality.
Its central location makes it an ideal place for enjoying the city sights, exploring the whereabouts, while its coziness makes it a great place to stay.
The Casa dei Tintori is in fact only a few minutes’stroll to the Duomo (Cathedral), Piazza della Signoria (Signoria Square), the Uffizi Art Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio.
There are five bedrooms: 1 large suite sleeping four, 3 with queen-size beds, 1 with two twins.
Included with every room are the following services/amenities: in-room private baths, individual air-conditioning, blow-dryer, colour TV, jewelry safes.
The rooms are tastefully furnished with reproduction and style furniture, and with textiles in patterns and colours from the Florentine tradition of the “Arte dei Tintori”
Each guest is supplied with full set of bath towels and blow-drier

Corso Tintori, 33 - Firenze
by car From the A1 motorway
Take the exit “Firenze sud”. Once out, follow the S.P. 127 and then the signs for the Lungarni until you rich the Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia where you can look for a pay car park (blue signs); now walk to the Corso dei Tintori, which you find immediately after the Piazza dei Cavalleggeri walking alongside the Biblioteca Nazionale (National Library). At # 33 Corso dei Tintori you will find the Casa dei Tintori.
from the airport
If you fly to Florence your flight will land at the Amerigo Vespucci Airport at Peretola. From the airport either a taxi or a bus shuttle service will take you in approx. 25’ to the terminal at Santa Maria Novella Railway Station. Bus shuttles leave the arrival terminal every 30 minutes during the day, and take you straight to the station with no intermediate stops. Shuttle service is not available on Christmas, New Year’s Day, Easter and May 1st. Tickets can be bought inside the terminal snack bars.

Santa Maria Novella Railway Station is the main node of the public transport network in and out of Florence.

on foot, for a 20 minutes’ walk, following directions below:
once out of the Station cross the Square, turn right into Via de’ Cerretani and walk until you reach Piazza del Duomo. Walk along Via del Proconsolo, keep straight on until you reach Via dei Leoni; at the junction with Via de Neri turn left, and proceed over the traffic lights at the crossroads with Via de Benci, keep going straight until you finally reach the Corso dei Tintori, and the Casa dei Tintori at # 33.
