Hotel B&B National park of Abruzzi
The Abruzzo National Park is located between the central Apennine region of Abruzzo (L'Aquila province), the Lazio region (province of Frosinone) and Molise (Isernia) and includes any area of the high Sagro Part Marsica Fucino, and Val Comino Mainarde.
The Abruzzo National Park was established in 1922 and covers 40,000 hectares, with 60,000 hectares of external protection. The environment is typical Apennine mountains, there are mountains over 2000 meters high and river valleys (Sagro, Melfa, Volturno and Bullock). The most common trees in the national park of Abruzzo are beech, oak, maple and pine. There are also birches, badgers and pine. More than 1000 species of plants with large flowers such as slipper gentian iris of the Marsi. In the Abruzzo National Park you can see over 40 species of mammals, 300 species of birds and 30 reptiles and amphibians. Of great importance is the presence of wildlife such as Marsicano brown bear, eagles, eagle owls, woodpeckers and many of Lilford and roe deer. Individuals or groups are welcome visitors throughout the year.
