Park of the Etna

It is about 3.300 meters high and represents a sort of fire giant placed at the center of the Mediterranean Sea. This is necessary to understand the wonderful ecosystem represented by the most active volcano in Europe.

A high thermal excursion, continuous eruptions, the varied landscape (sea, woods, lava flows) make it a diversified habitat suitable for an unbelievable amount of animal and vegetable species.
Be carefull now: at a height of 2500 meters there is no vegetation because nothing can grow there, apart from some isolated broom.

During excursions, which will remain engraved in your mind, sitting on a lava spur cooled by the freezing nights, we together will contemplate the Eolie islands, the extraordinary fusion of water and fire, earth and air.
